Business Spotlight

Meet Mike & Angela Bowman,
owners of Deli Boy.

“THE PLACE WHERE HUNGER ENDS”
(The below article was written by Angela Bowman.)

Dekalb County residents, Mike and Angela Bowman, have always been entrepreneurs at heart. Since meeting and marrying in 1993 they had always longed for one day being business owners. Over the years, the toils of life always seem to take precedence and the idea of owning a business was always placed on the back burner but the yearning was still there. In the last few years the couple was able to branch out and concentrate their efforts towards part time business ventures, such as a mobile snack truck, computer repair service and event planning. However, recently an opportunity presented itself and the couple felt they could not let it pass them by.

They are now the proud new owners and operators of Deli Boy, A New York Style Delicatessen located in Gwinnett County.   This quaint location offers deli sliced meats and cheeses, with a large selection of hot and cold sandwiches, salads, side items, chips, desserts and beverages and even does catering.

Their current hours of operation are Monday – Saturday from 10am to 5pm and closed on Sunday but plan to extent the hours soon to accommodate a dinner crowd and a Sunday church crowd. With a fantastic business model created by the store’s previous owners and the establishment’s friendly and experience staff, The Bowmans are looking forward to taking their dream to the next level.

Be on the lookout for their Facebook page, twitter and website coming soon.
